Going by the lyrics, I have classified this song as a love song, but it appears that the love is unilateral in this song despite this being a duet. The hero, Joy Mukherjee is since in expressing his love for the lady, but the lady, Sadhana is just playing along, without feeling the same sentiments.

Shammi Kapoor on the screen, Rafi as the playback singer, O P Nayyar as the music director. This deadly composition came together for “Kashmir ki kali” and the result was an all time great musical extravaganza.

“Ek Musafir Ek Haseena” was a movie featuring Joy Mukherjee and Sadhana. The music was by O P Nayyar and lyrics were written by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan ( known more for writing lyrics for Madan Mohan). Rafi, as is his wont creates magic with his divine voice in this song.
